Now that we are a couple of weeks away from the halfway point, I’m just now writing my “maternity basics” post. Whoops. Okay but seriously, who wants to spend a bunch of money on clothes they’re going to wear for 7ish months and then be done? Nope. Soo I invested in a few basic staples and then rock non maternity for the rest. I thought I’d link my favorite basics for you, most are from Amazon and Nordstrom, some a little pricer than others – but I promise worth it or I wouldn’t recommend spending the money.
First let’s talk tops. Literally the minute I found out I was pregnant, I started researching cute basic tops on Amazon, ordered a few, returned some, ordered more and finally I’ve found my favorites and they’re totally affordable. I got a medium in all of them and they fit great and no joke – they’re all under $15. I linked the colors I have below:
Now bottoms, I invested in one really good pair of jeans and then a couple of pairs of leggings because let’s be honest – that’s what I’m in the majority of the time. 😉 The leggings are worth the money, so are the jeans, just trust me. I got a 6 in the jeans, and medium in the leggings, but sized down to a small for my second pair – so I’d say size down in the leggings.
Dresses, I did three maternity dresses and then other than that I’ve been buying flowy, non maternity because I want to be able to wear them after. So I linked the three maternity ones I got and love below! Dresses are pretty TTS except, size down in the Target one, I got a small in that.
