So let’s talk about this Crest Whitestrips Challenge I’ve been doing! I started using the Crest 3D White Glamorous White Whitestrips early last week, we are about 8 days in and things are going strong! My teeth weren’t terrible before there were just some spots in between that I didn’t love and honestly, these have been a game changer. I used Crest Whitestrips before here and there, but not consistently so here’s the scoop and my thoughts about it.
Biggest questions I have been asked by y’all – one, how long did it take to really see a difference and two, are your teeth way more sensitive? So answers, it took I would say 3-4 days to really see a difference, which funny enough is exactly what they say *results in 3 days*. Welp, they weren’t lying – the little spots that bugged me are quite a bit whiter and it’s just gone up from there. Now, day 8 we are really getting white and I’m stoked about it! As far as sensitivity, no joke – haven’t had any, which I was really worried about because before when I did the white trays from the dentist daily – my teeth got REALLY sensitive. But, even since doing these white strips consistently everyday, my teeth aren’t anymore sensitive than they were before, at all. So basically what I’m trying to tell you is these get an A+ rating from me, for whatever that’s worth. 😉
They’re super easy to put on and use, you just follow the instructions for “upper” and “lower” and leave them on for 30 minutes. I typically throw mine on at night when I get ready for bed, then Marcus and I watch shows together and I get my 30 minutes in fairly quickly.
Once my 14 days is over, I plan to stay consistent and do these once a week, just to keep it up and my teeth whiter. Seriously I didn’t realize how much more confident it would make me in my smile. Then I’ll probably do the 14 day challenge again like once a year, just to get that consistency up and break up any discoloration from the past little while!
Here you can see a before (from day 1) and “after” as of today (but I still have a few more days). There’s already a big difference!
