I did it and I’m not going to lie, it was fun, funny and intense. I might make this a regular thing, we will have to see. 😉 HA! Anyways, I ran to Target while Blake was at pre-school today, quickly rolled through the aisles, picked out some of my favorite pieces that caught my eye and then headed to the dressing room to try everything on. Some things totally didn’t work out, so I am mainly showing you the ones that did, that I would buy (and did buy some). So let’s do this thing, I also linked everything under the pictures for you, gave you my sizing recommendations and just made it really easy to shop online rather than having to brave the store with a toddler or two, or three, or you get the point.
Also, going to link the jeans + boots I’m wearing in most of the pictures here:
This sweater is super cute, the green is a little different than the gray, but I linked both because I equally love the gray!
Sizing details: I would size up in this, I am wearing a medium. Mainly because the neck is tight – if you have a little neck, get your typical size. I am typically between and small/medium top and the medium top worked great.
I bought this, love this and it’s definitely a “me” top. The cutest, softest pullover and the price was great at just under $20.
Sizing details: SIIIZZZEEE UP. I got a large.
This top would be super cute for really any holiday party or just to wear around the house. You could wear it with jeans as pictured and tucked or with leggings.
Sizing details: Size down – I am wearing a small, but probably could have gone for an XS, it’s pretty oversized.
So maybe I’m drawn to pink? This is becoming a thing, it’s fine, everything is fine. I BOUGHT THIS AND IT BASICALLY SCREAMS JESS. SO I mean, if you’re #extra, please do yourself a favor and buy it because I plan on rolling up to all the preschool pick up lines in this and my nightgown. It also comes in mint.
Sizing details: Pretty true to size – got a size small.
You know I love a good graphic tee and I get most of them at Target, this one is a winner in my book.
Sizing details: Both graphic tees from today ran small (probably because they’re from the junior’s section), so I would size up 1-2 sizes depending on how you want it to fit. I’m wearing a medium and it was fine, but I would have gone with a large because I like them oversized a bit.
Soooo this might be favorite cardigan, well, ever. It lays flat (which is hard to find), is the perfect length and SO soft. You also can beat the price at $27.
Sizing details: Pretty true to size – wearing a small.
So I loved this shirt so dang much, it’s smokey the bear and so soft and cute – but the arms run so small, so read the sizing deets below.
Sizing details: Runs pretty small – again because it’s junior’s. I got a large and it fits and feels good!
HANDS DOWN favorite thing I tried on today. If you only get one thing – get this. I love it so dang much. It’s soft, buttery and velvettttt.
Sizing details: Runs pretty true to size – got a small.
Probably the least expensive sherpa style pullover I’ve found and I loved it. It comes in four colors – this purple/pink, olive green, light pink and then white!
Sizing details: Honestly, I could’ve done a small or a medium, just depends on how you want it to fit. Small hit a little higher on my hips (a little shorter), but still looked good. You can see both above, white is a small, purple is a medium.
The final item and probably the best bang for your buck. These jeans are sculpting, super comfy and ONLY $20. In fact, I would probably wear these over the Urban Outfitter ones I have that I spent like $70 on. Sooo there’s that. OH AND THEY’RE HIGH WAISTED.
Sizing details: I would say they’re pretty true to size! I am wearing a size 6, maybe could’ve done a 4 when I’m not swollen from IVF, but idk – the 6 fit well honestly!
