SOOO this week on Wednesday we threw a tiny waffle party as a fun little “back to school” thing with some of our friends and it was seriously so fun. I might even make it a tradition to do, weekly….too much? Nah. Maybe it’s just the fact that well I NEED ADULT CONVERSATION sometimes okay? 😉 Actually, y’all know I love throwing a good party, no shame in that. Marcus and I have actually been planning our Halloween party for like three months and I can’t even wait for it – we are going to have all the couples come dressed as their favorite TV couple. Okay, but back to this because it’s not even September yet people….tomorrow 😉
SO it was seriously the easiest party to throw together and I loved it. I made a bunch of waffles, then just hit the grocery store and bought waffle toppings and all the deliciousness, plus Nutella because #ALWAYSNUTELLA. Then I printed out coloring pages for each of them and made a fun little place for them to eat using Re-Play Recycled everything because their stuff is just so colorful and great and ta da! Took like 30 minutes to prep (minus the waffle making) and it was so fun! The kids ate a little bit, played upstairs and us Mamas got to just hang out and have real life conversations that didn’t include the things like “do you need to go potty?” – well for the most part, kids were still there okay? 😉

Fun facts on Re-Play:
We’ve actually used them since Blake starting eating real people food. I LOVE their stuff. The first things I ever bought were sippy cups at Walmart and my love just kind of grew from there. Their snack containers are the freaking best, you can stack them (like they twist onto each other), so you can bring several snacks in one and they also have the option to attach lids with little handles, which makes it so your babes can carry them easily! Basically all of their stuff is just awesome and they’re all sustainable, FDA approved and food safe plastic. SOOO win.
