I am all about a good pair of leggings, to work out in…but really to actually just wear all day long because well, like I’m actually going to take them off after I hit the gym. 😉 Seriously though, early morning work outs have been super good for me, but I usually find myself in the same gym clothes still at like 7PM at night. Whoops. So I figured since these leggings are definitely getting their use, I would share my favorite ones because guys, the perfect leggings are HARD TO FIND. But I’ve found some, so you’re welcome. When I look for leggings, I want high waisted and tight (because hold it all in). I also want pairs that aren’t going to lose their stretch and have cute options besides just the typical black (even though I have like 15 pairs of black…).
So I rounded up my top 4 favorites for you. Ones I actually own, have tried and love. And guys, I finally tried Lulu Lemon and LOVE them, but they’re so expensive, so it’s a splurge. I listed them in order of top fav to least fav depending on fit, price, etc.
Hands down, my favorite leggings. The hold their shape like nobody’s business and fit GOOD. They’re high waisted, slimming and comfortable. I’ve owned some of mine for a LONG time, washed them a ton and they still look and fit like they’re brand new. Plus the price point is not bad – they generally run between $50-$65 a pair. Fit wise, get your normal size!
Here’s some of my favorites from them:
These are a little more pricey, but they have SO many options, like SO many. Lots of cute patterns, colors, designs and everything which is why I love them so much because it’s a break from the traditional black. They also have high waist and they fit well, hold their shape and are slimming. I generally size down on these! So I typically wear a medium in leggings and get a small in theirs because I like mine to be tight. They also have lots of cute tops to match them with 😉 Price point wise, they range from $70-$135 depending on the style.
Here’s some of my favs:
#3: Target JoyLab
These are super cute, totally affordable and last well! Fit depends on the leggings for these, it’s funny — usually the solids I size down, but if they have mesh or designs on them I typically find myself wearing my normal size. Don’t ask me why, it’s just what I’ve noticed – ha! They’re super comfy and the price point is incredible averaging between $20-$40! The only thing I wish about JoyLab is that they had more options, ha! Because they’re so cheap — I want more, but don’t love all the styles!
Here’s some of my favs:
Last but not least — the big one, Lulu Lemon! Now I have to give it to y’all that told me to try these, because I waited forever to, they’re GOOD! Like SOOO good, they’re just friggin’ expensive. I guess in all reality they’re pretty similar in price to Sweaty Betty, but I just jumped on the Lulu Lemon train, so gimme some time. 😉 They’re pretty incredible though. I only have one pair and have only had them for a few weeks, but they are so flattering and haven’t lost shape yet and I’ve washed them a couple of times. I got my normal size! Price wise ranges from about $90-$150. Also fun fact, you can actually get some Lulus on Amazon!
