So if you follow me on Instagram and have seen my insta-lives, you know that well…since we’ve moved in with my parents while we build that well..our internet connection isn’t great. HA! Love you parents, BUT guys — I FOUND A SOLUTION. And I literally want to scream it off a rooftop. In fact we probably could’ve have used this at our old house because for whatever reason the internet was terrible in reaching from upstairs to our bedroom so it would disconnect all the, dang, time. SO I’m seriously really, excited to tell you about these and techy, geeky Jess is coming out hardcore. Actually, Marcus set them up and was like “BABE!! These are so good!” and I just kind of shrugged my shoulders, like okay, yeah — awesome. And now, here I am a week later with the same excitement.
SO what I’m talking about is made by Samsung, and it’s their mesh wi-fi system called Connect Home. They’re just little hubs that you can set in different rooms that don’t get great wi-fi connectivity. AND NO JOKE, it’s a night and day difference, like I am doing an insta-live tonight so you guys will see – it’s SO friggin’ good. The other awesome thing is that the new Samsung Connect Home Smart Mesh Wi-Fi system is actually a Wi-fi router and SmartThings-hub in one. So it works with all the fun smart home items like your Nest Thermostat, Samsung TV, Ring Video doorbell, all the things. You just connect all the devices with a tap to the hub and then you can control them from one place on your phone, using the Connect App, with killer wi-fi 😉 Having one app to help streamline how you are able to run your home is a game changer.
Can you guys just see the techy freak in my coming out? It’s funny, I would’ve never cared about this stuff before. BUT now that I’ve been married for a while to a husband who just LOVES all the new tech gadgets, I’m super into it. Like, make my house a smart home please and thank you. Like the one on that Disney Channel movie though, you know that talks and cooks me breakfast…still waiting on that part. 😉 It’s actually just kind of turned into a convenience thing now. I mean, how convenient is it to literally be able to just turn the air up or down while laying in bed or snuggling my babe, on my friggin’ phone?! Like I don’t have to get up or take away from her cuddles anymore! The best right? And now that our internet is on point, I’m just friggin’ stoked to do way more Insta-lives, which in turn means I can shop at Target more because I mean, that’s all we talk about anyways, right?
How would Connect Home help your wi-fi woes?
