I’ve been trying to keep up with my workout routine in between the chaos of working and well, Mommin’ especially during the summer. My travel schedule picked up big time and well…Blake wants to be outside every chance we get, so I’ve had to get creative with workouts. I’ve found myself working out at home a lot more during nap time, at the park, random hotel rooms or wherever I am that day. Well, especially since becoming a Mom sometimes even working out doesn’t feel like enough.
I don’t have the energy I used to, my body is out of whack and well, I need a little extra help. So I started researching what I could do, how I could help get a little boost, restore my body a little more and give me the energy I need to work out and be a more aware Mom, all day. Well y’all I’ve found one. Forte Elements – Amino Acid. I started drinking one a day a couple of weeks ago and honestly, feel so much better. My energy is higher, my body feels a little more relaxed and not in pain and well, I feel like I can Mom a little easier all day.
Their Amino Acid, is in a little packet that you throw into water, shake to mix and drink up! I have the citrus flavored and think it’s pretty good! It’s a balanced blend of protein building blocks to help repair tissues, recover muscles and improve performance. So now when I am doing jump squats and attempting pull ups (because that’s still a work in progress people) at the park, I feel like I have the strength to push through it a little easier and I feel so much better than before when I am done with a workout. Whereas before…just being a Mom was really hard somedays on my body and well, my energy level. You know what I’m sayin’!
Now, workouts — so I actually do a lot of Simply Sadie Jane ones at the park, she’s got killer ideas for out and about work outs! Or if I only have a few seconds or limited resources, I’ll jog in place or do a squat, push Blake on the swing, squat, push, etc. Just little things like that to keep my heart rate up and my body moving! At the hotel, I will generally jump on YouTube and grab a quick “at home” workout or I will hit the hotel gym and run for a few minutes then do some abs! Then at home, I’ve been doing BBG (though not as regularly as I should), I generally mix it up with a other workouts in between. I am hoping to hit BBG regularly, everyday starting in July when I know I won’t be traveling for a month straight (literally counting down the days).
What are your favorite work outs? I want to know! Also, Forte Elements — Mamas, jump on that (plus there’s a giveaway below).
