Can you believe fall is here? BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL FALL! I’m just a little obsessed with this season. Okay, I’m a lot obsessed. Seriously I love it so much, its my favorite season ever and I force everyone around me to love it too. Last year Blake was too little to really experience the full “effect” of fall, so I’m making her dive in full force this year. We’ve been to the pumpkin patch twice, had all the hot chocolate, pulled out ALL of our boots and WALKED the green belt.
We actually walked the green belt for the first time this past weekend and it was gorgeous! We loaded the diaper bag, Beanitos chips, blankets and water in the car and headed over! Luckily we only live about 5 minutes from one of the many green belts in the area so it was a quick trip. (Thank gosh because my one year old HATES the car, but that’s a story for another day. Ha!) Blake carried the giant bag of Beanitos all around while chowing down, I took way too many pictures (hence all the pictures in this post) and Marcus had both of us laughing about everything.
We walked around for a few minutes, Blake threw sticks into the river and then we sat down on a bench. This was Blake’s favorite part because there were dogs EVERYWHERE. Seriously, I think a dozen dogs walked by us while we were sitting there and she was in heaven. She LOVES pups!! She yelled, “WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!” to every single one that walked past and even snuck a few some of her snacks. 😉 Oops! Then we saw tiny baby puppies and for just a second (A SECOND), I felt like we needed another one. Then reality hit and I realized two dogs and a toddler was PLENTY. By the end of relaxing on the bench she was covered in Beanitos’ “dust” and ready to run around and play! I love watching her and Marcus play together. It makes my heart so happy. He is so good with her and as much as it totally has broken my heart the last few days, she’s been such a Daddy’s girl and it’s the sweetest. Right now I’m second best to Daddy. ha! Seriously though, I go out of town for GTU for ONE night and all of a sudden Daddy is number one!? What the heck? 😉
I’ve been trying really hard lately to make time for family time. Time where we can really soak everything in, take things slow and just enjoy each other. I always take pictures, for a blog post or not, because they keep all these memories that we’re creating close and easy to look back on. Life is just too short to always be in a hurry, to always focus on the things that need to be done. Family is everything, they’re all we’ve got when things get touch. We have to cherish that! Cherish them and hold on tight.
A big thanks to Beanitos for sponsoring this post!
Beanitos took an often overlooked, but incredibly nutritious superfood – BEANS – and figured out how to unlock their natural goodness, and deliver great taste and crispy crunch. They are a bean-based chip with great flavor and powerful nutrition – they are packed with protein and fiber, always gluten/corn free and delicious.
We LOVE Beanitos Mac N’ Cheese Crunch and grab it in the Crunch 21 oz. bags! It’s available, for a limited time at Costco’s in the NW and Texas regions! It’s also available in 6oz. bags across retailers seen on the Beanitos store locator, here.
