With Mother’s Day coming up, a little jewelry style post only seemed completely fitting. I mean really, what Mama doesn’t want a cute necklace that has something meaningful written on it? Exactly. I want 100 of them please. In fact, I’ll take 100. Anyone want to go ahead and just sent 100 necklaces my way? 😉 KIDDING. Kind of.
Okay but seriously, a couple of weeks ago I did a snap chat Q & A, where I answered all sorts of questions from y’all about anything and everything! It was so fun, in fact I might need to do that again. BUTTTT, back on track, one of the questions I got asked was how do I find time to keep things stylish and put together while being a full time Mom/working Mom? Well my answer was obviously something similar to this, “I’m actually generally a giant hot mess, y’all just can’t see below my shirt because I promise there’s sweats on and they have baby food all over them”. Truth though. However, I did give a couple of tips and this was and is my biggest tip: Even if you have your hair thrown up in a bun, take 2 minutes to throw some eye make up on, put a necklace on and tie the bottom of your shirt (it adds a little somethin’ alright?!)! Seriously, this is my go to on the daily. I mean because let’s be real, I do NOT shower everyday or have the time to curl my hair, not to mention Blake is really into pulling my hair so it goes straight up most days! However, for me personally, if I throw a little mascara on (over yesterday’s leftovers, ha!), put a cute but simple necklace on and tie my shirt, I feel a little more put together. Which means my confidence level is up and my day is a little brighter. It’s really a win, win for everyone around me. 😉
So today, we’ve teamed up with Dear Heart Designs–to show some of my favorite looks and pieces from their shop! Plus, we’ve got a promo code down at the bottom for you to grab somethin’ special for yourself or to just tell your significant other sitting next to you he needs to hurry and jump on their site tonight! WINK*WINK*
First a little background on Dear Heart Designs (because I seriously LOVE what they stand for); At Dear Heart their pieces are meant to provoke emotion. The kind that swells in your heart and craves to be let out. We all need to do a little of that, am I right Mama?! They are meant to be story tellers about your past, your future, your testimony, a family member, about your dreams, whatever you want people to know about you. They are meant to be reminders of God’s plan, of a precious moment in time, of a date that something extraordinary happened, even just a reminder that you are loved. They are meant to be given to a love one, your own heart, a stranger, a new life.
They are letters to and from the heart.
Because sometimes people just need a reminder that they are loved dearly, no matter what they are going through or who they have been. That they are worthy of love. That they are more beautiful than they have ever known. That anything is possible, as long as you believe. I mean really, can’t we all use a little of this everyday?
Their pieces are to spread joy and I love that!!
