Can you believe that Blake starts rice cereal in a week?! Excuse me while I have a serious meltdown because my baby is growing up way too fast! Secret though, I can’t wait to start her on rice cereal, especially right before bed because I’m hoping it will help her sleep through the night. Cross your fingers y’all! Did you look at all those pictures above PS? She might just think her spoon is more of a toy or something to stick in her eye, but either way THE CUTEST 😉
Well in celebration of Blake starting rice cereal we’ve teamed up with Spuni for favorite shop Friday! They make the ultimate spoon and it’s perfect for the transition from a bottle or nursing to rice cereal! Spuni was created from one afternoon during a messy feeding session, when more food was on the baby than in the baby. After a year of researching and testing hundreds of 3D Printed prototypes, they’ve landed on a design that stands apart from the rest. The breakthrough is the spoon’s tulip profile, which encourages the child to suck and swallow in one motion. This means less mess, less waste, and less frustration. Which in turn means a happier baby which equals a happy Mama! We’re all about that!
Their product is available in several variations but the most popular is the Halo, which comes in many bright colors. They also recently relaunched their wood spoons, which were were popular during our launch in 2012 and are a favorite in our house!
In love yet? That’s what I thought! Today they’re offering y’all 10% off with the code ‘POSITIVELYOAKES’ at checkout, here.
Plus, we’re giving away your choice of the halo or wood spoon right here, right now! Here’s how to enter:
•Follow @getspuni & @positivelyoakes on Instagram
•Tell us in the comments what your babes latest milestone is or if you don’t have a baby yet, what you look forward to most!
*Winner will be contacted directly and chosen at random October 28th.

After this week, it is safe to say that we now have a master roller over-er on our hands! Cute to watch his big grin when he rolls over and pushes himself up.
My baby girl was born at the end of June so our next milestone will probably be rice cereal as well.
My 7 month old just started pulling up on everything.
Well, my babe should be born in the next few weeks, which is most definitely my favorite milestone! 😉
We just started solids this week!! Such a fun new world to explore, and my daughter is loving it! We started with avocado, and the first day she tried it we put it on her tray for her to put her fingers in. Let’s just say it was a huge mess, but she had so much fun! These spoons look amazing and exactly what I’ve been looking for! 🙂
My baby’s newest milestone is waving bye bye and night night!
No baby yet, but love it when when they start feeding themselves!
My little girl is juuust about to roll over. Our dr is waiting until 6 months for foods :/ I was so excited at her 4 month check-up too! You’ll have to let us know (and I’m sure you will) how it goes!
My little guy just started rice cereal and getting into his mouth and not all over everything else is a big challenge!! But it’s so fun to try!
Those spoons are adorable! I personally did not start my baby on foods until 6 months, but his latest milestone was starting meats and larger table finger foods at 9 months 🙂 He loves the savory stuff! Next up is hopefully walking. He is so close, I can picture it happening any day now!
we’re still expecting 🙂 I look forward to the crawling
Liams latest milestone is grabbing things and putting them in his mouth.. Especially my fingers lol.. It is the cutest little thing .. We start cereal in about 2 weeks! Very excited!
I look forward to my son or daughter saying mama.
My “baby”‘s (1 year old) next transition is to a toddler bed, I think. We switch our kids at 18 months. She’s already walking! I would love to try Spuni as she isn’t the best eater.
my baby is almost 18 months and his latest milestone is saying words. He has recently began saying bye bye.
My daughter just turned 5 months! Her newest milestone is grabbing and trying to hold my face, and she always has the biggest grin while doing it! Will be trying rice cereal soon!
