We love smoothies around here! They’re pretty much the only time we really eat healthy and let’s be honest they’re not always the super healthy smoothies.
Well today, we’re going to share our favorite kid friendly smoothie recipe from our recent Produce Play e-book (which if you haven’t already downloaded that, get on it!).
Here’s what you’ll need:
•1 Cup of ice
•2 Cups of Pineapple
•2 Cups of strawberries
•1 Apple sliced up
•1/2-1 cup of apple juice
•Optional: throw in a veggie of your choice!
This is the easy part! We recommend cutting up the fruit as much as possible. Then you toss it all in the blender (start with 1/2 cup of apple juice). Blend away and add more Apple juice as needed.
Here’s the fun part. There are endless possibilities with this smoothie mix! Drink it as a regular ol’ smoothie, freeze it into Popsicles, make smoothie ice cubes, the list goes on and on!
