So we’ve had this lamp for Blake in her room for probably a year and a half, but no lightbulb in it. Yeah I know, pointless — but don’t you know it makes for a really cute friggin’ decor piece in there?! HA! I’m that person, no shame in my game. I’m also that person…rhyming and crap. Anyways, so you may remember our post from awhile ago with Sengled, if you don’t catch it, here. Well, we got to team up with them again, this time on their Element bulbs SO it only seemed right to put it in her little lamp!
Well guys, it’s been so friggin’ good. For several reasons. One, the bulb itself is good for the environment. Two, it adds the “smart home” effect without actually getting totally crazy and overboard, spending thousands on an entire smart home. You can control it from your phone, which has been the biggest win for it being in Blake’s room! I can turn it on, dim it, brighten it, turn it off all from a super simple app on my phone. So when she wakes up in the middle of the night, I can help her out and turn it on with low brightness and then go see what she needs. You like how I said that all calmly? Let’s just be honest, usually it’s a screeching scream because she needs to pee or get a drink for the 28493rd time. Either way — the light is brilliant. If you have more than one Element light (which I hope you do), you can name them by room on the app which makes it easy to know which is which and control them from anywhere! Like…when you forget to leave a light on for the pups, not that I’ve done that..what…this is awkward.
It’s also super ideal for a holiday gift because it’s affordable and fun. Seriously — we are addicted to these bulbs now and literally have been purchasing one every month so we have enough for our new house. They have TONS of options besides just the Elements, just go check em’ out, here. I’m so excited to get all these up in our new house and feel all tech and savvy, Marcus has got me all sorts of hooked with the new gadgets. Because let’s just be honest, my cute husband is SO into alllll the techy things, but now I can’t give him crap because I love them just as much..Whoops!
