I am all about a good deal. Like, gimme all the things, but give them to me on mega sale or real discounted. That’s a fine motto to have in life right? In fact, fun fact about me..yes, I just said fact twice, it’s fine. BUT, little did you know — I LOVE thrift shopping, like SO SO much. In fact, I am going this Saturday and it might just be something I have been looking forward to all week, judge me. It’s just the fun of like really looking and then finding your “treasure” for like $5 that makes my heart happy. I’m just easily to please people. 😉 Kidding, Marcus would tell you otherwise. HA
Seriously though, especially when we were first married (now life is busy and I don’t have as much time) I would go to thrift stores all the time and find the cutest clothes and shoes, for like $3 or less. Marcus probably wishes I still shopped like that…whoops. Wow, this post is turning into a whole lot about Marcus. 😉
Anyways, so let’s chat — ABOUT GOOD DEALS AND A GOOD SALE COMIN’. I mean, what else did you think this post was going to be about? First, run to Kid to Kid’s website, here, and see if they have a store near you. Now that you (hopefully) know you have one close to you, let’s chat. So I went in there this past Saturday to check out their store and see if I could find some goodies for Blake. I had gone here one time before when I was pregnant and remember finding a bunch of gear that I wanted and loved, so hey I was excited to do some shoppin’ on a budget! GUYS, SO MANY THINGS. Literally, I wish I had taken a picture in the store…but well, I didn’t so just trust me. Like – tons of boots, shoes, clothes, toys, gear and everything in between. What’s great about them is you can take baby gear and clothing you no longer use and trade it in! How nice is that?!
I got so many cute Melissa & Doug toys there for Blake, puzzles, a cute stamp set and then of course a little outfit and a new princess dress! The dress and jacket was literally $8 total and it’s a nice little trench coat! Obviously my inner deal lady was stoked about it. Well, I’ve got good news! Mark your calendars for November 15th because they’re celebrating 25 years in business and EVERYTHING in store will be 25% off at every store! They have over a 100 stores, which means (again check the link above) but you probably have one close to you! Which also might give you a good reason to clean out some of the things you’ve been storing in your garage, but really no longer need, to trade in and use towards a purchase!
Bargain shopping people, let’s do this thing. Set your alarms. I’ll remind you on Instagram again next week!
