Okay, so I am totally one for anything that will save me time and money, especially both 😉 HA! Seriously though, am I right Mamas?! Ain’t nobody got time for well…anything other than trying to stay on top of your babe, attempting to keep a laundry mountain out of your laundry room and well… brushing your hair the one time a week that you get to. Plus, saving time means that when you do have free time you’re not spending it on silly things but rather playing out back, makin’ s’mores or just having family time — you know, the important stuff that you’re going to remember forever. So I’ve teamed up with ScriptSave® WellRx today to chat about just that. 😉
So today I’m pretty excited to share a newly discovered app because it’s GAME CHANGING PEOPLE.
Okay, okay so the app is called “ScriptSave WellRx” and it’s totally free to download so don’t worry I gotchu 😉 What it is, is essentially an app that finds you the lowest price for prescriptions! Both the website and app have an ‘expedia-like’ look-up tool – returning specific prices for all the pharmacies in a given zip code. It’s been so nice to use for all my infertility medication (BLEH), but seriously people that stuff gets friggin’ expensive, lemme tell you. It’s literally a few clicks and you can see everything at your local pharmacies in one place. As I’ve learned, insurance doesn’t always mean great coverage on prescriptions, so it works really well for both covered and uncovered medications regardless of whether or not you have insurance. One thing I’ve learned throughout our infertility battles and now with this app, is that sometimes medications can be cheaper if you ran it “without insurance”, but legal contracts make it sometimes impossible for us to be given this knowledge! There’s no cost to trying the card – a pharmacist can price the medication with insurance, then compare that against the ScriptSave WellRx price. Then you can pay whichever rate makes the most sense. However, the you can only pick one discount!
Is your mind blown?! For someone like me that is constantly taking medication and even for the couple of times Blake has been sick, it’s been so nice to use. Prescription prices change daily and can vary on pharmacies, so to just be able to pop it into the app with your zipcode and the info you need is right there is pretty great. Plus, I love sharing things like this for fellow infertility Mamas because that alone is SO expensive. But even those that have regular medications or meds for a sick kiddo, it’s game changing and I mean — trust me I can find plenty of other things for you to spend that saved money on 😉 HA!
FUN FACT ABOUT THE APP:
+The program has been known to yield savings of up to 80%. However, this is obviously not an everyday occurrence. On average, their members are realizing a savings rate of around 44%.
